Sony PHDVM-63DM Mini Professional Digital Master Tape for the new HVR-Z1E and HDR-FX1E cameras. The new PHDVM-63DM has all the advances that you come to expect from sony digital master tape. The dual layer of active magnetic material to produce tape with fewer errors and less drop out than standard mini-dv tape, it has 30% more diamond like carbon coating which makes the tape more durable, also with a new advance metal evaporated II technology that uses greater density of magnet grains for higher output and lower noise. this results in 95% fewer errors and 60% less dropouts compared with mini-dv. The DVM-63DM has been especially improved for the demand of the new HDV recording format. This is sony best performing tape for use in all HDV - DVcam and also Mini dv cameras and recorders.
